VIGIL is a DoD-aligned simulation and mission processing framework supporting Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training, OPIR satellite data fusion, missile warning workflows, and multi-federation interoperability via DIS/HLA/TENA/NETN protocols.

Quick Start

Prerequisites

  • Docker + Docker Compose
  • Kafka + Redis (or use docker-compose.local.yaml)

Deploy Base Services (Local)

docker compose -f docker-compose.local.yaml up -d

Build Apps

cd apps/opir-ingest
docker build -t vigil-opir-ingest:latest .

Run Services

docker run -d --name vigil-opir-ingest \
  --network host \
  -e KAFKA_BROKERS=localhost:9092 \
  -e PORT=8081 \
  vigil-opir-ingest:latest

Check Health
