Restore layout

On opening in my Windows 11, scidCommunity version 5.1.3.48 don't restore the layout it had on closing. After opening I need to go to menu "Options → Restore layout → 1 (default)"

And I have all the time checked the menu option "Auto-Save Options on Exit"

Also, is the executable binary that you run also in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Programs\scidCommunity-windows-x64\bin directory?

Yes, everything in its right place just like after unzip.

I also don't have a theory but I would bet it is related with some change in 5.1.3.48 because 5.1.3.47 is going fine and any other previous version never had this issue.

@daSilva65 : Pursuing your theory that it's code related, when you have time would you mind trying v5.1.3.49 and see if that fixes the issue?

Yes, 5.1.3.49 is managing the layout well from session to session.

Yeah!!!! I thought your theory must be right because you are a very reliable reporter and we'd eliminated other easier possibilities. It turns out it was a subtle code change with how themes are loaded and differences in how Windows and Linux handle the graphics stack. I could not reproduce it on my Window VM because a VM on Linux still utilizes some Linux graphics packages.

I am glad you can use 5.1.3.49 because now you also get these features if they are of interest to you.
