this repository was created for Our World of Text's ...network.
the ...network chat is a shared chat between many worlds that aims to be a moderated alternative of the global chat.
...network's canvas centre of interaction is ...world. it aims to be a moderated alternative of the front page.
channels function like tags on a message. non-goatway bots MUST use the 'bot' channel.
channels are used by adding a list of channels separated by , to the channel key of a message's customMeta.
one can blacklist and whitelist channels. to see the channels of a message, one can double-click it.
one may use the /.c command to send a message in a channel quickly.
policies regarding the 'bot', 'bridge' channels are discussed in ...rules section 1.2.
the moderators moderate according to ...rules. moderators:
- can limit in chat by:
- muting (m)
- ratelimiting (l)
- force-channeling (c)
- force-unchanneling (C)
- can limit specific users/anons
- can limit all anons
- can limit {everyone except moderators}
- can delete messages:
- by referring to their position relative to the last message
- by triple clicking a message
- can access the Time Machine of /...world and /...network
- are member on /...world and /...network
- can write 20480 characters/s
- can member-protect areas
it also enables anyone to:
- delete messages locally if they're not a moderator
- filter channels
