Weather
The weather seems to be based on GenWorld, discussed on the Map page, and purely a function of location, not time. That is to say, if you stay in one spot forever, don't expect the weather to change. The DebugGenWorldTerrain command shows detailed weather and climate information. It seems like the geography information is used to derive a climate that informs the weather. The popup menu has weather overrides in the "Special Effects" submenu. They reference weather components like rain, clouds, wind, snow, and fog. But it also mentions sand, which is a weather component I don't recall ever seeing being used, and enabling it doesn't do anything. Races also have weather string, for which I have theorised that the unused "G" parameter is sand.
