Changes

  1. Check battery life and remaining space on SD card before recording. If battery is less than 20% and/or SD card has less than 1 GB then cancel recording and alert user.
  2. Change auto_off from Never to 30 minutes.
  3. Ensure camera is in Video mode before trying to change any other settings. Some settings cannot be changed when the camera is in Photo or Timelapse mode.

Compatibility

Windows only, tested on Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2.

Install

  1. Download gopro-sync.zip
  2. Extract gopro-sync.zip to a location of your choosing
  3. Run gopro-sync.exe. Seems to work best if your Run as administrator.
