VoiceClip 1.0.0
Windows 11 system tray app that captures voice dictation using the same speech engine as Windows Voice Access.
Features
- Real-time phrase-by-phrase typing — words appear in your focused window as you speak (no clipboard switch, identical to Voice Access behavior)
- Floating action button — always-on-top draggable button; left-click to toggle dictation, right-click for context menu
- System tray integration — left-click: history, double-click: dictate, right-click: full context menu
- Dictation history — last 500 entries with click-to-copy
- Microphone device picker — select any Windows audio capture device in Settings
- Hotkeys — Ctrl+Alt+D to dictate, Ctrl+Alt+V for history
- Auto-stop after silence — configurable 3–60s (default 5s, matches Voice Access)
- Coexists with Voice Access — both can run simultaneously
Requirements
- Windows 11 (Windows 10 22H2+ also supported)
- Windows Online Speech Recognition must be enabled (installer guides you through this)
Installation
Run VoiceClip-1.0.0-setup.exe and follow the prompts. The installer checks for the speech privacy requirement and guides you to enable it if needed.
Notes
- Self-contained install (~173 MB) — no .NET runtime required
- Settings persist in
