My setup:

• MacBook internal display Workspace 1-5
• External display 1 Workspace “M-L”
• External display 2 Workspace “M-R”

I can now move windows back and forth between the individual workspaces and monitors, and the focus also works very well.

However, when I switch between the Mac's internal monitor and the external monitors, the menu bar always shows the focused workspace on all monitors.

I would find it more intuitive if the active workspace were displayed per monitor.

In my case, on the internal Mac display, workspaces 1-5
and on the external monitors, M-L for display 1 and M-R for display 2.
For the external monitors, no workspace from the internal monitor workspaces 1-5 should appear in the menu bar and vice versa.

Currently, the icon in the menu bar shows “M-L” everywhere for the external Display 1 when I have it in focus. This is also the case on the internal Mac and Display 2, even though Workspace 1 is active on the internal Mac and only “M-R” exists on the external Display 2.
