At Glimmer, we believe that your mental state is your most private data. Our business model is straightforward: we provide a tool for somatic grounding, not a platform for data mining.

This Privacy Policy describes how Glimmer ("we", "us", or "the App") handles your information.

1. No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide an email address to use Glimmer.
  • No Usage Tracking: We do not track how you use the app, which features you use, or how long you stay.
  • No Analytics SDKs: The App does not contain third-party tracking code (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Facebook Pixel).

2. Local Processing

Glimmer is designed to function entirely offline and on-device.

  • Visuals: The fluid dynamics simulations are calculated locally on your device's GPU using Apple's Metal framework.
  • Haptics: The vibration patterns are generated locally using the Core Haptics engine.
  • Audio: The brown noise and soundscapes are synthesized in real-time on your device.

No sensor data (touch input, gyroscope, etc.) is ever transmitted to a cloud server.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

Current Version (v1.0): Glimmer does not currently request access to read or write data from Apple Health (HealthKit).

Future Updates: If future versions introduce "Mindful Minutes" integration, any data written to Apple Health will be stored exclusively on your device (and your encrypted
