Things to check if the plugin you've bought from Code Canyon doesn't show up in your WordPress updates screen:
- Enable logging (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress)
- Click the update button from the admin bar in order to force WordPress to recheck
- Check the wp-content/debug.log file for any errors generated by the plugin
If none of the above helped, you need to check the name of the plugins match. I know it sounds stupid, but I've just ran into this issue with this plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/addon-creator-for-visual-composer/16530030, where the name of the plugin on Code Canyon is Addon Creator for Visual Composer the author has set its name as Addon Library in the plugin file, thus making it impossible to update from within WordPress.
To check if this is the issue here, head over to your settings page on Themeforest and look for the API Keys entry in the sidebar menu. If you don't have any active API keys, create one and then use this URL to test: https://marketplace.envato.com/api/edge/THEMEFOREST-USERNAME-HERE/API-KEY-HERE/wp-list-plugins.json
