Great request @inokra - and you diagnosed it exactly right: the EC resets to its factory fan mode on every cold boot, and GhostDeck so far only watched. Coming in the next release: a new opt-in switch, Settings → Power → "Restore fan curve after wake / at startup". GhostDeck remembers the curve that was active (a preset or a manual one from the editor) and re-applies it a few seconds after every boot and resume - hands-free, with a change-log entry each time so you can always see it happened. Your Bravo 17 is a Tested model with a verified curve, so it will work out of the box. Until then, a workaround that already works today: save your curve as a preset (Fan curve tab), assign it to your profile ("apply with profile"), and enable the AC/battery auto-switch in Settings → Power. The auto-switch sets the profile on every app start, and the assigned preset rides along with it - so the curve comes back at boot. The limitation is that you have to want the auto-switch; the new option removes that requirement. Thanks for the kind words and for the clear report - it shaped the feature directly. |

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I didn't have the power options enabled in GhostDeck. After turning them on and checking the option to restore the profile on wake-up and startup, GhostDeck does indeed remember the fan curve settings as well. Best regards, |

Shipped in v1.24.1: https://github.com/wygodad/ghostdeck/releases/tag/v1.24.1 Settings → Power → "Restore fan curve after wake / at startup" (opt-in). With it on, GhostDeck remembers the curve that was active - a preset or a manual one from the editor - and re-applies it a few seconds after every cold boot and resume, with a change-log entry each time. The EC's factory reset no longer silently discards your curve. Thanks @inokra for the request - let me know here if it behaves as expected on your machine. |

Description
Hi,
Thank you for creating GhostDeck! It is a great lightweight alternative to the official software.
I would like to request a new feature. Currently, whenever Windows restarts, the laptop loads the factory "MSI Default" fan profile. Even though GhostDeck launches automatically, the custom fan curve setting (Advanced Fan Mode) stays turned off in the program. Every time I boot my computer, I have to manually toggle my custom profile to activate it.
Could you please add a feature that automatically forces and locks the "Advanced Fan Mode" to stay enabled on startup? It would be great if the custom fan curve remained persistent and hands-free after every reboot.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
Best regards,
inokra (MSI Bravo 17 C7VE/D7VFK)
