Hey, thanks. Haven't seen your project yet, but I really really like the playback progression implementation, with the little bars. I need to build that in the next version :)
We tested 1 pq device, so far it worked. Would need more testers with older vehicles to try it out.

Hi, I have a friend who has the same setup as me, but he uses Apple; he can act as a tester on PQ, Scirocco SW1109 cluster, PQ SW0480 media.

[xPaiiN]

Hey, yes feel free to test it out on pq, it should work. Let me know your results :)

[Boub-Perf]

Hello @xPaiiN My friend tried it on PQ and it doesn’t work.

Incidentally, it isn’t possible to combine it with the AAtomkombi patch @kkrvch – it’s either one or the other.

I’ve opened an issue.

Thank you.

Nice job on making this work! It drives me crazy that they didn't think of this.
Any change of making this work for Delphi units? I have the MST2_EU_VW_PO890D.
Cheers!

Hey, yes as a carplay-only user, I know what you mean.
When I'm done with turn-by-turn directions + telephone integration, I'll start working on delphi support 🙏

But I could use your backup/dump for help 🤤

[doriangh]

Happy to help! How can I extract it from my unit?

Hi! What’s the current status on the MHI2 Harman release? Thanks!

[xPaiiN]

Hey, will come sometime, but no release date as of now.

[Bpm4Life]

Hi @xPaiiN, thanks for the project. I saw your update that there's no release date for MHI2 yet, so I'm asking about a specific configuration rather than a timeline.

I have a 2015 SEAT Leon ST (5F) with a retrofitted Harman MIB2.5 High head unit and the original analog cluster / central MFD, part number 5F0 920 863 A (not Virtual Cockpit). The cluster already shows the song name when I play over Bluetooth, but when I play via Apple CarPlay its media screen only says “USB”. The MIB's built-in navigation also shows turn arrows and distance on the cluster, whereas CarPlay navigation does not.

Could your MHI2 port send CarPlay title/artist to this existing analog media display? And could CarPlay turn-by-turn directions (for example Apple Maps or Google Maps) use the cluster's existing arrow/distance display, or is that limited to Virtual Cockpit? I only need text and turn instructions, not album art or a map view.

I can provide the exact 5F firmware train, MU version, head-unit part number and logs if helpful. Thanks!
