option to change color

Love the applet but it doesn't really fit my theme colors. Would be nice if it could use system theme colors or had a a option in configs to choose colors.

can you please post a photo showing your theme and AppGrid? It should respect your theme.

The AppGrid panel is using theme color that i want but the AppGrid center has a different one.

Looks the same to me .. The two variants work differently under the hood:

AppGrid (Panel) uses Plasma's built-in popup system — the same one Kickoff and
other panel widgets use. This means it automatically inherits your Plasma theme's
colors, blur, transparency, and styling. Everything "just works" because Plasma
handles the window for us.

AppGrid (Center) creates its own standalone window that floats in the center of
your screen. Because it's an independent window (not a Plasma popup), it needs to
handle its own background separately. The colors come from your Plasma theme and
will match, but the blur and transparency are managed by AppGrid itself rather
than Plasma.

If the Center variant doesn't look quite right out of the box, check these
settings:

• Background opacity — controls how transparent the background is (default: 85%)
• Enable background blur — enables the frosted glass effect behind the panel
• Corner radius — by default uses your Plasma theme's radius, but you can
  override it

These settings only exist for the Center variant since the Panel variant gets
them automatically from Plasma.

Can't we match defaults?:

• Background opacity — Plasma themes define panel/popup opacity through SVG
  elements and theme-specific configs. There's no simple API to read "what opacity
  does this theme use for popups." Our default of 85% is a reasonable middle ground
  but won't match every theme exactly.

So the answer is: it already matches as closely as possible. The only manual
adjustment users might need is the opacity slider to taste.

Got it, thank you.
AppGrid (Center) will use the "Button Background" color from my theme. Just need to change that to the color I have on the panel and it matches now.
