If I use a product like openwebui https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui as a SaaS version and want to support there the Kreuzberg document extractor for files, is this possible with this license? For my understanding the paragraph
makes this impossible, doesn't it? |

Yes, you can use this. As long as you are not selling Kreuzberg as a service, but using it in your infra its fine. There are of course some gray areas. Think of this as using Elastic search - its equivalent (same license). You can build and use Elastic, but you cannot sell elastic as a service. Thus -- as long as you dont sell Kreuzberg itself as the service or a substantial part of the offering, but only as infrastructre serving what you are building, you can use it. I suggest discussing with a lawyer if you are in a grayer area than this. |
