FECTR:

FedEx Cost-Total ReportReader is a windows droplet program that takes the Fedex's Desktop Ship Manager's "End of Day" report that was saved to text file, adds the shipping cost column for all the packages in the list and display the results of the total cost, then prints the report. Designed for users that can only understand dragging a report file onto a shortcut with settings pre-set and admins who prefer the command-line.

Requirements:

Strawberry Perl v5.X - http://strawberryperl.com
Microsoft Windows XP or higher.

Usage:

Format

fectr.cmd options file(s)

Examples

fectr.cmd -tv fedex-report1.txt fedex-report2.txt
fectr.cmd -cp fedex-report2.txt

Default:

1) FedEx Report files must by a text file that has a 'txt' file extension. 
2) All results are sent to a terminal display & to the default printer via Notepad for a hard copy.

Options:

-h		Help
-v		Verbose data, shows what is on the line that the cost was captured from - sends to printer
-t		Terminal display only while creating temp log file - no printing
-n		No auto-printing, but open report in notepad
-c		Cost total is only displayed - no printing
-p		Parcel total is only displayed - no printing
-f		Find tracking numbers - sends to printer 
		Combined with -r will disables the display of the line-by-line breakdown of the cost & sum
-r		Recipient's name - sends to printer
		Combined with -f will disables the display of the line-by-line breakdown of the cost & sum
-d		Debug-mode to see how things have changed, before tweaking cost-capture code - Sends to printer
