Just a headsup for people who might have the same problem as me (took me a while to figure). I did followed the steps (removing config/uninstall and vice-versa). But I kept receiving an error about a bad config option specified. But I remembered that I started using AW long before the flow-config, so I checked /config/custom_sensors dir and found a really old config. After removing the error notification was gone. |

I've had the duplicate entities and renumbering before, and laat release the namings of the garbge types changed. Every odd release I need to fix the entities. |

Almost 2026.1008 is ready for release on February 2nd.
This version aligns much more closely with the standard Home Assistant component structure. As a result, this release introduces breaking changes.
Due to a new unique ID implementation, the sensors you currently have will be recreated with different IDs. This will lead to duplicate entities.
Recommended approach (best result)
This requires minimal effort and provides the cleanest outcome. In most cases, your entities will retain the names you previously assigned.
Conclusion
After several years of stability, this restructuring step was unavoidable and necessary for long-term maintainability.
