- BUG FIX: When downloading archived responses, the file extension is derived from the URL path. For some URLs (e.g. captured analytics/beacon requests with long query-string-like values after a
.in the path) this produced an extremely long "extension" that was appended to the filename, causing[Errno 36] File name too longerrors when writing files. The extension is now validated for length: if the determined extension is longer than 20 characters it is treated as invalid and set tounknown, preventing the "File name too long" failures. This check has been applied to both the Wayback/archive and URLScan response-saving code paths.
