Hi! Thank you very much for such a useful utility! I discovered it not too long ago, but I’ve already had a chance to appreciate how convenient it is. At the same time, for now, the grid mode seems to be the most convenient for me. It allows me not to think about orientation: once I see the cell coordinates, I can simply enter them — that takes only three keystrokes (four if a correction is needed). For me, this kind of “mindless” mode feels simpler than analyzing which quadrant the part of the screen I’m interested in belongs to. I realize I may be missing something and simply haven’t learned how to use the recursive_grid mode properly yet, but at the moment, that has been my experience. So, if supporting the grid mode is not too burdensome, I would be happy to see it remain available in the future. Once again, thank you very much for your work! |
Uh oh!

I am actually in consideration of removing the ordinary grid mode at this point. Recursive grid is way too powerful and more customised as compared. I am not sure if the normal grid mode is still worth to maintain in the codebase and also wonder if it's even being used by anyone.
