Beta release
Mostly complete, has missing words from a few lessons, especially later Intermediate levels.

Installation Instructions:

  • If you have never used a JCCCW, Kaishi, or 2k/6k deck then just download JCCCW.Compiled.apkg and import into Anki
  • If you have a previous version of JCCCW (pre-GitHub) you'll need to run the "make good" process (see below) after importing
    • I'd recommend Merge Card Types and setting to accept all cards (not just newer) just to sync everything up
  • If you have run Kaishi before you'll probably want "Source_Kaishi.Converted.apkg" and follow the below:
    • Import all cards with "Merge Card Types", and accept all cards from both decks
    • Select all cards with the tag KaishiConverted and move them to another deck or suspend them -- these cards have been duplicated in JCCCW by cards before Kaishi was integrated.
    • Run the make good below

Make Good:

  • If you have a previous version of the deck and want to be sure everything is where it should be these steps should help
  • Select all cards with each tag (e.g Novice1) and move them into the appropriate deck (e.g. JCCCW Compiled::1 Novice::Novice 1)
  • Repeat for each tag
  • If you used the old compiled deck any remaining cards in the old deck are duplicates and can be deleted or suspended as you see fit!
  • If you used Kaishi and did the Kaishi converted step: Remaining cards without tags can be put in the deck "JCCCW Compiled::4 Kaishi"
  • If you want to ensure card order is in class order, sort by Word and select all cards in each leaf deck (e.g. JCCCW Compiled::1 Novice::Novice 1)
  • Select "Cards->Reposition" (Ctrl-Shift-S on Windows), and set the following Start Position for each deck, this should arrange cards properly:
    • Novice 1: 1
    • Novice 2: 216
    • Novice 3: 406
    • Novice 4: 573
    • Novice 5: 685
    • Novice 6: 810
    • Intermediate 1: 943
    • Intermediate 2: 1027
    • Intermediate 3: 1095
    • Intermediate 4: 1173
    • Intermediate 5: 1252
    • Immersion: 100,000
    • Kaishi: 1,000,000
    • you can sort the Immersion deck in whatever order you like, we begin at 100,000 to make it have a large gap from class vocab above
    • Similarly, we put Kaishi at 1 million in order to give lots of room for any immersion content you add yourself. This deck will be updated with Immersion content as class progresses.
