English text gets removed after adding card to anki

Description
English text inside angle brackets gets removed after adding a card to Anki.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download recommended monolingual 旺文社国語辞典 第十一版 (last time updated 2024-04-30) dictionary cited in TMW docs
2. Add it to Yomitan
3. Try adding loan words to Anki, e.g.:

Expected behaviour:
I get all information from the dictionary added to an Anki card

Actual behaviour:
The line with English text <producer> gets removed

プラタナス works fine, as it has both Japanese and English text inside brackets:

Only Japanese text also works fine, for e.g.:

It looks like those brackets are not escaped and they are becoming HTML under the hood, judging from your second screenshot:
