Huge lag while accessing a specific drive

I see extreme lag

I pressed down 10 times and then pressed q, it took > 5 seconds to exit, after my input was done

I've confirmed and replicated this and I think it could be related to the power of the VM in your case or some other limiting factor. I'm currently running 1.3.1 on windows 10 and I can connect to a large remote file system. Although once I connect to a few large NTFS drives I do start to experience some lag, so I'm not sure where the bottle neck is.
