Would rather make Microsoft host it rather than the open-source projects.
I have come across Github rate limiting me (the curl will timeout with 0 bytes downloaded), but perhaps this was because of DDOS of github as a service and not shadow rate limits. But they are not suppose to:
Each file included in a release must be under 2 GiB. There is no limit on the total size of a release, nor bandwidth usage.[1]
