Allow updating Zed and extensions from the CLI

What are you proposing?

Add an option (zed --update) to the CLI that updates Zed and its extensions headlessly (without loading and opening the GUI).
Obviously updating Zed itself would only make sense if it is installed by itself and not via a package manager; if it would update itself normally.

Why does this matter?

I don't mind Zed updating automatically at startup, but having to restart it is wasting time; if I could incorporate updating Zed into Topgrade, I would not have to update it at the time I want to use it, and can instead do it at the time I am doing all other updates.

Please implement this and also updating from cli as well. Right now, I do not know if there is an update or not unless I open zed . Also, it feels weird just to open the IDE to update it.

This works with Topgrade for now:

But it downloads Zed every time, even if it's already up to date.

You can avoid that by checking the latest version:

I can probably implement this into Topgrade natively.

Topgrade v17.12.0 will ship with a Zed updater! Only Zed itself though, not the extensions.
