What are you proposing?

Zed agent history has no option to be cleared. Proposing either a UI button with delete icon to delete individual history items or having CTRL+SHIFT+P "agent: clear history" option.

Why does this matter?

The entire history is stored, cluttered and consumed large space to store all the threads.

What becomes easier or possible?

Agent management and workflow.

To add on, now with the Threads Sidebar as part of the Parallel Agents release, deleting even a single thread now takes an additional step, as you need to archive a thread before you can delete it.

Adding UI/command options to do actions like "archive all threads", "force delete all threads" and "delete all archived threads", would make it much easier to address thread clutter. Ideally, these actions would be performable on both a per-workspace and across-all-workspaces basis.

Thank you for the link on how to delete threads. I've been looking for a way to delete my unused threads.

I would also like to see a CTRL+SHIFT+P action for quickly archiving and deleting threads

From what I understand, the following commands would be the flow for delete threads.

• ctrl + alt + j to open toggle threads sidebar
• ctrl + g while the threads sidebar is focused to show the threads history
• hover on threads, then click the trash icon to archive/delete
