Thread renaming and project reordering in the sidebar have shipped in Zed Stable v1.5.3! You can now rename threads directly from the sidebar, and reorder projects up and down via the sidebar's ellipsis menu. We don't have drag and drop support yet, but it makes sense to add that. Also, you can change project focus by I'm going to close this out since most of what was asked is supported, but please feel free to open another discussion to request any remaining bits. |

Why does this matter?
The new threads sidebar has radically changed my Zed workflow. Earlier, I used multiple tabs to switch between projects, but that was a bit cumbersome as it didn't help me track my various agents and it looked cluttered. The new threads sidebar is much more intuitive and powerful.
But it has some issues:
