Using GPT-4o, the connection is flaky and sometimes broken. Only fix is to restart editor. Didn't do anything notable for this to happen, seems completely random.

Environment

Zed: v0.151.1 (Zed)
OS: macOS 15.0.0
Memory: 96 GiB
Architecture: aarch64

Is there anything in your ~/Library/Logs/Zed/Zed.log when this happens?

@notpeter Just the line request completed with error: failed to connect to the server, nothing else relevant. Update the ticket with screenshot and log.

This time, it happened after going AFK for a while and coming back. My Mac might have went to sleep and closed all network connections, but I have also noticed that it can happen intermittently on seemingly random occasions as well. Maybe add a connection manager?

Happened again today but with Claude 3.5 sooner. Same error in logs

It seems I'm experiencing the same issue, but it's much worse on my side. I have tried several times in the past 2 weeks, but failed to use AI every time. I can see there's ''[WARN] request completed with error: failed to connect to the server" in the logs. I'm running Linux.
