Scroll laggy/unresponsive when changing directions

I don't think this is covered by other issues with "laggy scroll". It's specifically about scrolling up and down. When changing directions Zed requires around a second to actually follow my touchpad. This only happens on my personal MBP 14", does not happen on my company one. Same machine, same CPU, same macOS version, same Zed version. The company one has 16GB of RAM instead of 32GB, but that shouldn't be the issue.

OS: macOS 14.6.1
Memory: 32 GiB
Architecture: aarch64

Same behaviour in the editor, diagnostics, file tree, structure and collaboration tree.
