Hover Cursor Delay in Zed

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

I have tried using Zed, but I noticed that it feels more sluggish compared to VS Code. In VS Code, when I press the Command key and hover the mouse over a variable or function name, the cursor immediately changes to a hand icon, indicating that I can click. However, in Zed, the cursor doesn't change instantly, which makes me unsure if I'm hovering over the correct item or not. This delay affects the user experience. For reference, I’m using a Mac Pro M3 12 Cores.

Another issue I encountered is with GitHub Copilot. There should be a visible indication when Copilot is responding. Without it, it's hard to know whether Copilot is processing my input or not.

With respect to the hover delay, I can't reproduce this with Rust (both VSCode and Zed are quick, even with a very large project), perhaps this is a golang / gopls language server specific issue with a large project. It would be helpful if I could reproduce, is there an open source) where VSCode is fast and Zed is slow?

You should file the copilot/inline compeltion animation as a distinct issue.
