cx.hide() doesn't work on Linux

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

When I run the window example in gpui, the "Hide Window" button does not work, which uses cx.hide(). I have also reproduced the behavior in a standalone gpui app. cx.minimize_window() does work as expected.

Environment

Ubuntu 22.04, Gnome X11 desktop
