Accidentally closing an unloaded split-view tab is way to easy to do accidentally.

Hey team,
When a split-view tab is unloaded, the ❌ buttons are really prominent, and there are two of them. Check the image above.
I have often accidentally closed the very tabs I want to open.

Can we make it more difficult to hit the ❌ - maybe require the tabs to be loaded first, or for split-view tabs require a right-click->close.
