What Firewater Does

• Browse & discover - Search and filter across 2,000+ whiskeys, bourbons, tequilas, rums, gins, and more. Sort by category, rating, proof, price range, or just vibe.
• AI recommendations - Tell Firewater what you like (or what you hated) and it suggests what to try next. Powered by Gemini, tuned for spirits.
• Barcode scanning - See a bottle at the store? Scan it. Get tasting notes, community ratings, and similar bottles instantly.
• Your collection - Track what you own, what you've tried, and what you're hunting. Rate and review as you go.
• Social - See what other people are drinking, share reviews, follow collections.

Tech Stack

React 19, TypeScript, Vite, Capacitor 8 (iOS native), Clerk auth, Vercel Postgres, Gemini AI. The app runs as a web app at firewater.app and is heading to the App Store as a native iOS build.
