This is how you can help spread the word about coala. Initiatives can be tracked and documented at https://github.com/coala-analyzer/engagement/.

Local coala groups

You can gather your friends and people you want, if they are interested in attending meeting, where you can introduce them to coala. You can even start by coming to an existing FOSS group and give a talk there.

If you want you can start your own local coala user meetup and have periodic meetings. Also, you can meet people in informal places and introduce them to coala, help them to get started. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Writing a blog

We have a blog at http://planet.coala-analyzer.org/. It would be good to have more content in it, more articles about coala. If people would read our articles, they may start using coala. Here is a small list of things that you can write about (by no means extensive):

  • Use cases of coala in your own projects.
  • How to setup coala with your favourite features.

Our blog is news agregator, so to have your articles posted, you have to provide RSS feed to your blog.

Videos

It would be super awesome, if you'd make a short screencast on coala. Either how to setup it, or anything else you want.

Also, any other videos would be cool. Your creativity is the limit.

Share

Even small things like posting on your wall in Facebook or making a tweet about coala could make a difference. Here is our Twitter profile, if you want to reach out.
