PG&E 🟦
Dear Valued Customer:
A power line can go down for several reasons, from an extreme weather event to a car crashing into a utility pole. Watch and learn how to stay safe around downed power lines.
Here's how to stay safe if a power line goes down in your community:
- Never touch it and stay away as it can still be live.
- Immediately call 9-1-1 and then call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.
- Keep everyone, including kids and pets, away from a downed line.
- Do not touch anything or anyone who has been in contact with a downed power line.
- Avoid driving over a downed power line.
For more safety tips, visit www.safetyactioncenter.pge.com.
Also, please update your contact information at www.pge.com/alerts so PG&E can notify you if there are service interruptions.
Sincerely,
PG&E Customer Care Team
