Is the peeing/pooping broken?

I only just nabbed the mod since I just found out about it, and while I enjoy the content quite a bit, I feel like I'm going way too much. I'm trying not to fall too hard in the regression, playing a character trying to keep from needing them too bad, but with how frequently I have to 'go', it makes it something of a chore. Feels like I pee every 2 in-game hours and poop every 3, so I'm constantly having to run for a building with toilets, or an empty map to just go on the floor. Can't help but feel like it may just be a bit too rapid, the need to go... So I just wanted to check and see if it was a somewhat broken feature,, or if that was intentional. And if there was some config option that I somehow missed, that lowers the need drain.
