Configure the gpt.xml File

IMPORTANT: This topic pertains to the Installation Tutorials for quickly setting up a Geoportal Server test instance. Please see the Installation topic for thorough information about configuring the gpt.xml file.

Instructions

Change to the /usr/local/tomcat6/webapps/geoportal/WEB-INF/classes/gpt/config directory to find the gpt.xml file.

Open the gpt.xml file in vi and make the edits shown in the table below.

geoportal_code_gpt

Note: Be sure to pay attention to indentation when commenting out sections.
