Geoportal Clients for ArcGIS

There are a number of ways for users to connect to a geoportal, search, visualize results, and publish resources. Besides the geoportal web application itself, a number of other search and publish clients are available, as described in the following topics. Note that for the Geoportal Clients that are used with ArcGIS Desktop, .NET Support must be enabled during installation of ArcGIS Desktop on any machine that will be using the Geoportal Clients.

- WMC Client (use with ArcGIS Desktop)
- Search Widget for HTML (use with web browsers)
- Search Widget for Flex (use with Flex-based map viewer)
