Geoportal Server 1.2.6 What's New

Geoportal Server 1.2.6 adds the following major features and improvements (see Release Notes for full details):

  • Enhanced support for DCAT JSON: DCAT output has been enhanced to be compliant with v1.1 of the [Project](https://project-open-data.cio.gov/v1.1/schema/). In addition, [several](https://github.com/Esri/geoportal-server/wiki/Customize-DCAT-output#available-since-126) have been implemented to give you increased flexibility in supporting open data initiatives (such as [Data.gov](http://www.data.gov)).
  • Security enhancements: Enhanced geoportal server security in many aspects, include adding a whitelist configuration so that only process in the whitelist are allowed in the cart processing, removing obsolete code that might cause security concerns and updating code to addressing some of the issues reported from code scan.
  • Updated JS API to 3.13: Upgraded the Geoportal Server to use JS API 3.13.
  • Added support for Java 8: Upgraded the Geoportal Server to support Java 8.
  • Portal for ArcGIS integration enhancements: Added support to Geoportal Server for using ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS as an identity store, added support for Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1.
