Minutes

Project activity updates:

  • The Enterprise licensing agreement for the Zeek logo is complete and has been reviewed by two sets of lawyers. The first agreement is currently in the process of being signed.
  • The work on automated onramp emails is continuing. We will put a page online where interested users can sign up for these emails within the next few weeks..
  • We are going to have a “Zeek in Enterprise” day (see the blog post for more details).
  • The LT was informed about some small project finance updates.

Subproject updates

  • Testing:
    • The Zeek testing group published a blog post calling for participation.
  • Training:
    • The Training group will publish a call for participation within the next weeks. The goal is to have a first call with all group members in the second week of May.
    • The group has a public Slack channel and a private email list.
    • The scope of the group is both, creating frameworks around Zeek training as well as creating content for Zeek training.
    • One of the first goals is to discuss if there will be Zeek approved training – and what exactly that means/entails.
    • At the beginning the focus will be on creating frameworks; this will also be outlined in the blog post.

Zeek Week:

  • The LT discussed the format and possible candidates for Zeek Week keynote speakers. We will start reaching out to potential keynote speakers in the next few weeks.

Mission/Vision/Values statement:

  • The LT is currently working on a Mission, Vision and Values statement for the Zeek project. During the meeting LT spent some time discussing the language of the Mission statement.
