Minutes

Meet-the-developers day in Amsterdam:

• Corelight will have a team meeting of their open-source team in Amsterdam in May.
• As part of that meeting, Corelight will host a “meet the Zeek developers” day.
• This will be an event that is open to the public.
• There will potentially be a couple of talks – but most of the day is open for people to talk to the Zeek developers.
• More details about this will be announced in the future.

Potential Zeek October event:

• The Zeek LT was made aware of an opportunity that would allow us to have a short ~1.5 day event on the US west coast, at the end of October, which would be co-hosted with a different event.
• The LT talked about the event, its format, the people attending, and the potential content of it.
• The current plan would be to have one day of talks and trainings, followed by half a day with a more open format to allow the community to socialize.
• It will probably take until mid-May until it is clear if we will be able to make this happen – and until more details about this will be publicly available.

The Zeek LT spent the remainder of the meeting talking about the project structure, the project trademarks and how to best protect the trademarks for the future.
