Changes

  • Added a VSync option (read docs for more info)
  • Changed the download system to be a .zip file that contains the .exe and dependency files seperately, instead of having it all in the same file, which means the game now loads faster
  • IMPORTANT: After this update, the game will crash on startup if you have the old config.txt (%appdata%/08BitPixels/Flappy Taco/saves/) in the saves folder; prevent this by deleting the old config file and the game will automatically make a new one that works

Downloading + Installation

  1. Download by following the first link, FlappyTaco.zip, in the Assets listed below
  2. Extract the folder
  3. Run the .exe file and get playing! (Disclaimer: There is an annoying issue where FlappyTaco.exe is sometimes flagged as a virus. To work around this, you can add the file as an exclusion from your antivirus software. It's annoying but there's no real way to get around it)
