0sec

The public engine and CLI are now 0sec. This release ships the first verified standalone binaries, so supported users no longer need a source checkout, Node, Bun, or npm to run the CLI.

Install

macOS on Apple Silicon and Linux x64/arm64:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/0sec-labs/0sec/main/install.sh | bash
0sec --help

The installer downloads the matching binary from this release and verifies its SHA-256 against checksums.txt before installing it to ~/.0sec/bin/0sec.

Windows users can download 0sec-windows-x64.exe directly.

Assets

  • 0sec-darwin-arm64
  • 0sec-linux-x64
  • 0sec-linux-arm64
  • 0sec-windows-x64.exe
  • checksums.txt

Compatibility

  • 0sec and 0sec-cli are not published to npm yet.
  • Existing PWNKIT_* environment variables remain supported as legacy aliases. In POSIX shells, use those names or env 0SEC_FOO=value 0sec … because shell variable assignments cannot begin with a digit.

Use 0sec only against software and systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test.
