Task Warrior GPUI is a desktop GUI for TaskWarrior built with GPUI, Zed's GPU-accelerated UI framework.

Task Table

• View tasks in a sortable, paginated table
• Columns: ID, Description, Project, Due, Priority, Status
• Click columns to sort ascending/descending
• Color-coded priorities and status indicators
• Overdue and due-today highlighting

Filtering

• Search by description, project, or tags
• Filter by status (Pending, Completed, Waiting, Deleted)
• Filter by priority (High, Medium, Low, None)
• Filter by due date (Overdue, Today, This Week, No Date)

Sidebar

• Hierarchical project tree with expand/collapse
• Tag list with multi-select filtering
• Task counts for projects and tags

Theme

• Dark theme inspired by Ayu
• Card-based layout with consistent spacing

Technical

• Uses https://github.com/taskchampion/taskchampion for TaskWarrior database access
• Reads from ~/.task or TASKDATA environment variable

Known Limitations

• Read-only (no task editing yet)
• No keyboard shortcuts
• Single theme only
