Skillset 0.1.0 — unsigned beta

A native Mac app for discovering, installing, and updating your AI agents’ skills.

Requirements

• Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer).
• macOS 26 or newer.
• This beta is ad-hoc signed, without a Developer ID certificate or Apple notarization. It is distributed through GitHub, outside the Mac App Store.

Install

1. Download Skillset-0.1.0-arm64.zip and extract it.
2. Move Skillset.app to Applications and open it.
3. If macOS blocks it and you trust the download, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and select Open Anyway for Skillset. Follow Apple’s instructions.

Managed Macs may prevent this exception.

Included

• Discover installed skills across supported agent folders.
• Browse curated skills and install bundles.
• Check for updates and see local recommendations.
• Native light and dark appearance.

Known limits

• Intel Macs are not supported by this download.
• Project-local skill folders are not scanned.
• GitHub’s anonymous API limits can temporarily delay update checks.
• The online catalogue may be unavailable before the website is deployed; the bundled catalogue works offline.

The .sha256 file lets you verify the downloaded ZIP with shasum -a 256 -c Skillset-0.1.0-arm64.zip.sha256.
