Figmaboy 0.3 adds projects for organizing related design files without disrupting existing standalone designs. Create a project from the home toolbar, open it, and create focused design files inside it; projects and standalone designs stay visible together in the local workspace.
This release also fixes a Linux desktop freeze when choosing an image for the canvas. Native file dialogs now run asynchronously instead of blocking the application event loop.
Figmaboy is a local-first desktop interface design tool with a native MCP companion for Codex.
Download the installer for your platform below. This release also includes standalone figmaboy-mcp binaries and a SHA256SUMS file.
macOS builds are ad-hoc signed and are not notarized yet, so first launch may require approval in Privacy & Security. Windows builds are not code-signed yet and may show a SmartScreen warning.
