Version 2.2.5 is a stability release. Upgrading is recommended for all RPC operators.

Added

  • Add rpc.allow-js-tracers flag that allows custom JavaScript tracers in the debug_trace* RPC methods. This is unsafe on publicly exposed nodes.

Changed

  • debug_trace* RPC methods only accept built-in tracers by default. A request with a custom JavaScript tracer now fails with custom tracer is not permitted unless rpc.allow-js-tracers is set.
