ESP32 Marauder v1.12.3 + JSON Serial Interface — Marauder v4

Prebuilt firmware for the Marauder v4 (OG Marauder, ESP32‑D0WD, CH340), based
on Marauder v1.12.3 plus the new JSON serial interface and screen‑free
analyzers from the feature/json-serial-interface branch (PR
justcallmekoko/ESP32Marauder#1346).

Built with arduino-cli + esp32:esp32@3.3.4, flash‑tested on real v4 hardware.

What's new

A machine‑readable command set over the USB serial CLI, so any host program can
parse device data reliably instead of scraping text:

  • jsoninfo — handshake / capabilities
  • jsonstatus — poll‑friendly device state
  • jsonlist <a|s|c|i|p|t> — list APs / SSIDs / stations / IPs / probes / AirTags
  • jsonmode <0|1> — toggle streaming
  • analyzer [-t wifi|bt|chan] — run the analyzers with no screen

Every machine line is prefixed with @J and is one JSON object. Existing CLI
behaviour is unchanged. See JSON_SERIAL_INTERFACE.md in the repo for the full
protocol.

Flashing

Easiest — single merged image (flash at 0x0):

Use the correct serial port (/dev/ttyUSB0 on Linux, COMx on Windows). You
can also flash the merged image with the web flasher at
https://esp.huhn.me or Espressif's Flash Download Tool.

Verify integrity: sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt

Notes

  • This build targets Marauder v4 only. Other boards must be built from source
    (select the board in esp32_marauder/configs.h).
  • Unofficial personal build from a fork; not an official justcallmekoko release.
