v1.0.0 – Early release

⚠️ Early release. v1.0.0 was built fast and may have rough edges. It is not extensively end-to-end tested. It is functional and usable, but not state of the art. Known issues are being fixed for v2.0.0 – see KNOWN_ISSUES.md.

First public release of Multica for Android (unofficial), an Android app for Multica, the platform where people and AI coding agents work on the same issues. It is a fork of the official Expo / React Native mobile client (iOS only upstream) with an Android build and mobile features:

• Inbox with on-device notifications – no Firebase, no Google Play Services (optional foreground service with one WebSocket to your server)
• My Issues / All Issues, filters and a Kanban board
• Issue detail, comments, issue chat, agent runs with transcripts
• Chat with AI agents, read-only agents and squads
• Runtime server URL, Cloudflare Access service-token mode, private CA support
• English, German, Simplified Chinese

Requirements

• Your own Multica instance and account. Tested against a self-hosted Multica server v0.6.1; Multica Cloud and other versions are not tested.
• Android 7.0+ (API 24) on an ARM device (arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a). No x86 / x86_64.

Installation

1. Download multica-unofficial-1.0.0.apk and multica-unofficial-1.0.0.apk.sha256 below.
2. Verify the checksum: sha256sum -c multica-unofficial-1.0.0.apk.sha256
   SHA-256: 42db36b94b2f762c2d3fa6f96ace2134a8ad276ab3e9ad1b01c452dedd47c1f8
3. Open the APK on your phone and allow Install unknown apps for your browser or file manager when Android asks (Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps; on Android 7: Settings → Security → Unknown sources).
4. On first start, enter your server URL, tap Test connection, and sign in with your e-mail code.

Known issues (short list)

• Offline indicator is unreliable
• "Paste" button can be hidden by the keyboard
• Opening an issue from the inbox can jump to the wrong scroll position
• Some issue-chat authors show as "Unknown Agent"
• "Local / VPN" placeholder reads multica.example.lan
• ARM only (no x86 / x86_64 emulators); APK signed with v2 only
• Release builds sign in by e-mail code only

Source-available (Multica License, Apache-2.0-based): distributed under the Multica License (Apache License 2.0 with additional conditions), the same license as upstream Multica.
