TreeWeaver v1.2.0

@12nucleus 12nucleus released this 02 Oct 18:40

What's new

  • Interactive HTML export — save the current view as a standalone .html file for colleagues: it keeps pan/zoom, hover tooltips, and the legend, embeds the full metadata table, and allows live re-coloring by any metadata column (pie-chart or mixed-color mode, custom mixed color) plus label/edge font-size controls. Fully offline, no dependencies.
  • Repulsion range increased from 10 to 50.
  • SNP-weighted repulsion layout fixed — branch lengths now visibly track SNP distance (stronger springs + wider log-scaled rest lengths, consistently applied in the initial layout and the live simulation).

TreeWeaver v1.1.0

@12nucleus 12nucleus released this 02 Oct 13:59

What's new

  • Reproducible MST tie-breaking — equal-weight edges are now resolved by sample name (not matrix position) in Prim, Kruskal, and Boruvka, so all three algorithms return the identical tree and results no longer change when the matrix is reordered or subsampled.
  • Deeper zoom-out (down to 1%, was 20%) with consistent clamping on the zoom buttons, so trees with 1000+ nodes fit in view.
  • Metadata coloring — upload a metadata table (TSV/CSV, first column = sample name) and color nodes by any column. Mixed nodes render as pie charts or in a user-chosen mixed color, with a toggleable legend (category colors + sample counts), per-node metadata breakdown in tooltips, and pie support in SVG/PNG/PDF export.
