v0.1.1 — portable message sources, reproducible packaging
Portable message sources, and a release you can rebuild
This release exists because of one failure mode: on harness 0.1.7-alpha.2 the organs stopped a turn with
本轮运行失败 format v4 message requires a producer-owned source kind
What changed
- Injected messages now carry the shape both session-format generations accept —
{ kind: 'plugin:<name>' }
instead of the retired{ kind: 'plugin', plugin: … }wrapper. The old wrapper is refused by format V4 on both the
read and the write path; the new one is what V4 requires and what the V3 native write path accepts (measured with
the host's ownencodeCurrentEvent, not inferred). Five injection sites migrated: the heartbeat/proprioception
briefs, memory recall, and both agent-teams delivery paths. organ-sdkexportsinjectedSource(name)— organ authors get the portable value from the SDK instead of
rediscovering it, with the reasoning attached.npm run check:sourcesis now part ofnpm run check— it fails the build if any plugin source or built
output carries the retired wrapper, or if aplugin:literal drifts from what the SDK produces. Verified in both
directions: the tree passes with 10 occurrences across 23 plugin directories, and a planted wrapper is reported
with file and line.scripts/pack-organs.mjsmakes these tarballs rebuildable from a clone. Seven of the ten organs do not commit
alib/, so a plainnpm packon them silently produced a package whosemainpointed at a file that was not in
it. The script stages manifest + patch + README +lib/(committed, or built for the occasion) before packing, and
every asset here was checked forlib/index.jsandcordis.patch.ymlbefore upload.
Install
# body kernel + memory organ
$rel = "https://github.com/1420079678-ctrl/agent-body/releases/download/v0.1.1"
dsh plugin --profile web add "$rel/dsh-external-dsh-organism-0.1.1.tgz"
dsh plugin --profile web add "$rel/dsh-external-dsh-cortex-0.1.1.tgz"Ten organs ship as prebuilt tarballs; the table in the README lists all of them.
Notes
dsh-organismanddsh-cortexmove to 0.1.1 because their built output carries the fix; the other eight are
unchanged and keep their versions.- No npm packages are published for these organs — installs come from the tarballs above or from the repository.
- If you installed the 0.1.0 organism tarball before, reinstalling with the v0.1.1 asset is what picks up the fix;
existing sessions keep opening either way, because the V3→V4 migration converts historical rows on read.
v0.1.0 — 23 organs, one heartbeat
Agent-Body v0.1.0 — 23 organs, one heartbeat
The first public release of an organ-based plugin layer for DeepSeek Harness.
Plugins here are not a tool list — they are organs in a living system, with senses, reflexes and a shared circulation.
What's in the box
23 organs implementing one contract (sense → reflex → effect → homeostasis), across eight body systems:
- Nervous / endocrine — the organism kernel itself:
body_mapbody_statusbody_heartbody_nervebody_callbody_reflexbody_healbody_skillbody_lawbody_pulsebody_cellbody_organbody_tokens - Memory —
cortex_sleepcortex_memorycortex_homeo: sleep phases, deterministic consolidation, long-term memory cards, alert de-noising - Metabolic — zero-residence context:
zr_compactzr_recallzr_ledgerzr_fast - Sensory —
dsh-web-crawl(8 crawler capabilities, three-stage cascade),dsh-browser-ultimate,dsh-file-chips - Motor —
dsh-office-docs,dsh-social-card - Executive —
dsh-pentagi,dsh-quant,dsh-academic-research,dsh-agent-teams-pro, plus more - Immune —
dsh-sec-workbench,dsh-vuln-remediator,dsh-reverse-skill,dsh-war-bridge
The five life mechanisms
- Heartbeat — a 1s base clock with a variable interval (3× faster on critical alerts, 2× slower when idle). Every beat packages the current operator directives, proprioception and homeostasis warnings into a blood packet broadcast as
organism/heartbeat. Any organ can hook the circulation in one line, and can return blood viaorganism/venous. - Nerve impulses — your command is converted into an impulse before the model reasons about it, deterministically innervating the organs that should handle it. Success reinforces the route (Hebbian), failure decays it; dispatch order reorders itself from experience.
- Reflex arcs — deterministic logic that fires in milliseconds with zero model calls. The same tool × cause failing three times makes the system author its own reflex.
- Closed-loop self-healing — failure → deterministic attribution → prescription → re-check. Wounds close only when that organ next succeeds. Measured on the development install: 21 wounds healed, 100% heal rate, 0 chronic.
- Sleep and consolidation — 2 min idle → light sleep, 5 min → deep sleep, then a consolidation pass every 2 minutes with zero model calls, mining pitfalls, playbooks, hotspots and unresolved threads into long-term memory that decays and archives rather than vanishing.
Token economy
Tool schemas are shown on demand, gated by what the turn is about: 49 of 256 capabilities exposed per request — 10,173 tokens instead of 55,154, roughly 82% saved, with everything else one body_call away.
Organs are optional, the architecture is not
Six kernels depend on no single organ: nerve bus, heart pump, directive layer, reflex engine, dissector, impulse conduction. Unplug a plugin and the body keeps running — it detects the offline organ and compensates with the closest overlapping one.
Getting started
git clone https://github.com/deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness.git # the host
git clone https://github.com/1420079678-ctrl/agent-body.git # the organs
$env:DSH_CHECKOUT = "C:\path\to\deepseek-harness"
pwsh -File agent-body\workspace\plugins\dsh-organism\scripts\replay-organism.ps1Replay scripts are idempotent — re-run them after a host upgrade.
Verify it yourself
Deterministic, offline, no network or model required:

Notes
- MIT for this project's own work; ported plugins keep their upstream terms.
- Windows-first (Windows 11 · Node 24 · PowerShell 7). Linux/macOS paths exist but are less exercised.
- Local-first: the harness binds loopback. Do not expose it to a network.
