Salvium Vault 0.2.5

Choose a tag to compare

@143Noodles 143Noodles released this 06 Jul 11:00

Node reliability: the desktop wallet now connects through Salvium Vault's own hardened node by default (with all three seed nodes as automatic fallback), so a single seed going offline can no longer interrupt scanning. If you run your own local daemon, the wallet still prefers it automatically. Fixes the scanning error some users saw on Linux. Questions or feedback? Join us on Discord.

@143Noodles 143Noodles released this 05 Jul 02:03

Scanning update: wallet restores now pick up exactly where they left off — fixes a loop where the scan could jump back to 0% after reaching 100%. Also includes the latest sync reliability improvements from the web wallet. Questions or feedback? Join us on Discord.

Salvium Vault 0.2.2

Mining improvements.

  • Mining now runs at maximum performance automatically — click Start and approve your operating system's permission prompt. No separate toggle needed. If you decline, mining simply runs at standard speed.
  • The permission request always comes from your OS (UAC on Windows, polkit on Linux), never from Vault itself.
  • The mining page is now translated into all 14 supported languages.

Existing installs update automatically on next launch.

@143Noodles 143Noodles released this 03 Jul 00:24

Salvium Vault 0.2.1

Mining fixes.

  • Correct setup guidance per operating system — no more Windows-specific prompts on Linux or Mac.
  • New Maximum performance mode on Linux: enables huge memory pages and CPU tuning for a significantly faster hashrate (asks for your system password once per session). Standard mining still runs without it.
  • Each device now shows up as its own named worker in the pool stats.

Existing installs update automatically on next launch.

@143Noodles 143Noodles released this 02 Jul 23:54

Salvium Vault 0.2.0

New: Mining. Mine SAL straight from the Vault on desktop — one click, CPU core control, an optional mine-only-when-idle mode, and live pool stats (hashrate, workers, payouts) for your wallet on every platform.

Faster, more resilient syncing.

  • Restores pull blockchain data over the direct CDN path at full speed.
  • Interrupted syncs now resume where they left off instead of starting over.
  • Large sweeps that could fail with an index error now go through.
  • Sending right after opening the app connects more reliably.

Existing installs update automatically on next launch. Fresh installs: grab the installer for your platform below.
