DLNA Server 1.3.0

This release adds playlist sources and network shares.

What's changed

  • Add .m3u, .m3u8, or .pls playlist files as media sources.
  • Add SMB shares like smb://user:pass@server/share.
  • Add FTP shares like ftp://user:pass@server:21/media.
  • Windows, Linux, and macOS desktop screens now accept folders, playlist files, and network shares as media sources.
  • Windows and Linux desktop menus now show the app as DLNA Server.
  • If the server name is blank, DLNA Server now uses the computer hostname. A name saved in config.ini still wins.

Fixes

  • The Linux desktop app opens more reliably under WSLg.
